They can make a girl change her whole life, drop all her friends, get all in her mind and make her seriously think that its the right thing to do. Like he has her back for life and ACTUALLY treats her right. She’ll never find anything better anyways right? Guys, you deserve an award for that! Keeping your girl at home with nothing to do and no one to talk to unless its you. Cutting her off from the world. Its sooo amazing to me! No sarcasm. Its like mind control and I love it. Shyt! I wish I could get my dude to hang on to my every word like that. You guys have some girls stuck under your wing, scared to death to do anything because they don’t want you to get mad at them. I use to have this mindset of “Even if we’re not as cool as we use to be I’ll always have your back.” Not anymore. People take advantage of it. So no! If I haven’t talked to you in weeks or even months don’t you dare call me asking me to do anything for you. Are you crazy! You lost the right to do that. I really don’t mind doing stuff for people especially when they need me but I’m done being the person you call ONLY when you need something? WTF do I look like, captain save a hoe? If you’re not a friend to me on a regular basis or family you better call someone else because nice Kortney has left the building.
S.N: I’m lovingggg my break from school. I have time to do my nails, catch up on shows I missed, I have time to SLEEP! lol. I have time to see my dude and my friends. AHHH never realized how much I can’t do when the semester is in.
So I’ve been out ALL fking day Christmas shopping and I’m finally almost done. Just one more gift to buy! I got my God Sister this beautiful black (hella expensive!) leather wallet, I got my best friend some cute sweat pants with a matching shirt and some earrings. Plus I’m making her cupcakes because her birthday is the day after Christmas. I’m taking my Bestie to get her nails done and to a nice dinner on Christmas Eve, got my dude his fave Cologne and something a little special, I got my brother some black dress pants and a few collar shirts for his new professional job, and I got my mom a ring with me and my brother’s name and birthstone. I still have to find my daddy a gift! & Of course I had to pick some stuff up for myself. lol Got some dressy, professional clothes. Dresses, skirts, blazers and what not. Getting tired of wearing jeans all the time. I’m an adult! haha & I got some stuff for my car and room.
But yupp! I think this is the first Christmas that I got all my love ones really nice gifts with my own money that I’ve been saving for the past few months. & they all deserve it =] I’m EXCITEDDD

When you don’t like someone and no longer care about them whether its a friend or an Ex or just some random person that rubs you the wrong way, you don’t waste your time on them. If I don’t like you then I don’t care about you which means I want nothing to do with you BUT I’m not gonna go out of my way just to show you how much I don’t like you. I’m not gonna send you nasty messages, talk bad about you to all my friends or roll my eyes at you when I see you. That’s just way too much wasted energy. Thats letting you know you’re so important to me that I have to take time out of my day to try and make you miserable. TRUST ME, if you’re not important to me and I don’t like you, I’ll make it very clear for you to notice just by the way I talk to you. I’d much rather spend the energy I’d use hating you towards showing someone more important how much I love and appreciate them. So if you say hey to me or whatever I don’t mind saying hi. I’m just not gonna be all hugs and kisses with you.

Sooooo! I think right now most girls I know are at this awkward age (18/19yrs) where its hard to find a guy we vibe with. PERSONALLY, I think we’re at the age where we don’t need boyfriends because they make life 10x more annoying. lol. In high school it was that cute puppy love, you see them everyday all that crap. But now most of us are in college and working and the girls I know are all looking for MEN! Not boys! I learned in psychology class that most guys don’t become mature until the age of 24 while on the other hand girls become young women at about 18. HMMM!!! That explains it! lol. All I hear from my girl friends are “Ugh he’s still playing games.” ”He needs to grow up.” “How childish.” I guess 18 years old in girl years are completely different in boy years. Most my girls have started dating 22-24 year olds. Not on purpose but because you’re drawn to them. You two think more alike then these 18/19yr old guys whose mind is nothing but drugs, sex, rap, and video games. There’s nothing wrong with it! We’re all legal! lol. Personally I see the difference and I like it!!! I loveeee older guys. Know why? THEY FKING GET IT! lol. They have life experience. Most of them have passed their player stages and they understand that you have better stuff to do then just sit around watching movies with his bored ass. Idk everyone is different so I’m not saying this relates to EVERYONE. This has just been on my mind because my friends have been talking about it and I now see the difference between my Ex and my current. Granted, my Ex was 21 when I dated him and he acted 16. So it all depends on the person. But girls you’ll deff see the difference between a boy and man. I can’t explain it. They just treat you better and of course, THEY FKING GET IT! lol.
